deb cole - no problem here, but I have a dumb phone (a basic cell phone), so maybe that’s the ONLY reason why I’m not a texting parent.

Alex - I love listening to Avery’s sweet little voice. I wish I could be with both of you on those morning walks. I’m impressed she’s reading the WSJ with her daddy already. Is that newsprint in her hand? Love that beautiful little face! :)

Alex - Guess you guys had better get busy. Grandma is feeling an urge to “help” and you know that will probably mean your house will look like the interior of Ft. Knox by the time she gets done. ;)

Month of Resolutions #Fail

October was my month of resolutions!  I signed up for an online photography class, enrolled in a daily writing challenge, dedicated myself to organizing our home room by room, decided I should start making my own baby food, started Avery in swim lessons, was happy to be able to start going to Pilates regularly now that…

It’s actually a Lululemon Triumphant Tote gym bag.  It has all of the perfect features of…

Oregon School Bus Stop

Seth grew up in a house located on about 40 acres in the middle of a forest near the coast of southwest Oregon. The climate there is actually very much like a rainforest. While most San Diegans complain at the mere sight of a grey cloud, Seth suggests going on walks in “real weather.” “But, it’s raaiiining,” I’ll whine. “What,…
