Month of Resolutions #Fail

October was my month of resolutions!  I signed up for an online photography class, enrolled in a daily writing challenge, dedicated myself to organizing our home room by room, decided I should start making my own baby food, started Avery in swim lessons, was happy to be able to start going to Pilates regularly now that Seth’s Gran Fondo ride is over, have started cooking dinners at home – real ones that I actually make from scratch,  promised myself I would read every night, had to finally download and organize my thousand plus photos from my iPhone (apparently there’s a storage capacity? What?!), and committed to posting Monday through Friday on this here blog.  Not two days in and something had to give.  Apparently, you can’t do it all every day.

Still, I’m happy to be in a state of “good enough.”

Plus, I came across this photo during the whole iPhone debacle:

It was after our trip to Chicago.  Avery would not stop crying in the cab ride home from the airport until she was holding tight onto our hands.  I’m going to miss the days when all it took to make it better was holding onto her daddy’s and mama’s fingers.

deb cole - whoa! slow down, momma. That is a LOT to take on all at once. I like your ambition, but baby steps are just fine. :) Hugs!
