His given name is Karper, but his family and friends call him “Potamus.” He’s the son of one of my most favorite friends, Kallie, and I am forever happy they settled their Texan home in San Diego while they start their family. Potamus has personality times a million and will let you know when he is happy, when he’s mad, and there’s no stopping this kid when he hears music – He was born with “happy feet.” Watch out Nashville, a star may have been born – literally!
I helped throw Kallie’s baby shower last year and it just blows my mind that her baby boy turned one last week! The new mama voice inside my head is screaming, “Nooooooo!” The selfishly good part for me is that Kallie is one of those “go-to” friends who, in addition to being a child development specialist, has just gone through whatever I am calling to ask about. I love her for it, times a million!
Kallie is also very creative and threw a beautiful birthday party for Karper. You can see all of her photos on her blog, Pitstop with the Pitcocks. (Cute, right?) I’m really hoping she helps me put the “ing” in “craft” for Avery’s birthday – hint, hint!
