It’s Monday. I usually love Mondays. It’s the start of a fresh week, the day I re-start my resolutions to eat better, be more kind, call that friend back, send an overdue thank-you note, organize the office, closet, and my entire life! A seemingly endless list does not intimidate me, it inspires me! However, something is amiss! It’s hot and muggy in San Diego, but the earth has surely tilted for Fall because everything just feels off kilter. Baby girl won’t nap because she’s teething, I can’t think straight when I look at my To-Do list because of all the noise going on next door with their house remodel, and Patchy isn’t feeling very patchy because these guys are here again:

He’s hanging out in the back of our walk-in closet. I just wish he would make himself useful and organize it while he’s there. Goodness knows I’m not going to get around to it today!
