Contest and Feature: Baby Carriers
I am posting this one last time before announcing the winner next Friday! I know a couple of friends are sending some more photos and I wanted to give everyone a chance to enter. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and that the Bruins crush the Beavers tomorrow at the Rose Bowl!
I went to pilates this morning, so it was Seth’s turn to walk Patchy with Avery. I always expect them to return like this:
Please ignore dying plant. I’m already in therapy over it.
To clarify, Avery is asleep in the Baby Bjorn. Seth keeps the front part up, so that she has somewhere to rest her head. Okay, her face. But, she loves it – promise! However, today the Baby Bjorn was folded down, revealing a very awake and giggly Button. “She likes facing out!” he laughed as our baby girl smiled up at me, kicking her legs.
As for me, I like to carry Avery around in the Ergo. When she falls asleep, her head rests against my chest and I just snap the cover up and over her head. “She’s comfy facing her mama,” I say.
Awe, our first outing in the Ergo oh so long, but not long at all, ago.
That’s the thing about baby carriers: There are a bazillion of them and we all have our favorites (or least favorites). So, in order to write a post about baby carriers, I thought I would get your input! Please email me 3-5 photos along with 1-3 reasons why you LOVE your carrier, as well as 1-3 negatives about your carrier. I’ll choose the most funny and cute photos to post with your comments. Everyone featured gets a prize. A small one. That might be baked..from scratch…that came out of a box. Then, there will be one super cute prize for the overall cutest photo. The Pioneer Woman I am not (she went to that other school, anyway! ;), so please don’t expect a new digital camera or Kitchen Aid. However, it will be a cute piece of jewelry. (It’s a surprise, sorry!) (I will now stop writing “cute.”)
Please email me with any questions at aimeebruin (at) gmail.com (Yes, yes, I’ve kept my same email handle since college! Get the other school reference now? ;)
One of my best friends, Claire, already sent in several photos and, come to think of it, I gave her a Kitchen Aid for her wedding! I guess I AM a bit like TPW! Ha!
