Little Button in a little bit of light

Pin It My new self-assigned project is to take a photo each day that I am proud of. I love how the light highlights Avery’s expression in this one!

Felz - that is a great pic Aimee – good work! Also a great idea to take a picture every day. I’m going to ask you in a few weeks how that’s working out. Friend and I just decided to do the same thing with sketching – certainly not aiming to do a good one every day, just spend 15mins actually doing it ;)

Love Letter #7: A Selfish Reason to be Selfless

Dear Button, I’m thinking of changing my blog’s name to “Love Letters to My Button,” because it seems that I write here about once a month on lucky day 13 of each month.  One, I can’t believe I’ve been so disloyal to my blog.  Two, you keep me busy, little Button!  You are such a […]

Alex - Being a dedicated parent grows you in amazing ways. You and Seth are wonderful parents and Button is an amazing little baby. We’re crazy about all of you!

Aimee - I would have made my 6-year-old self be more dedicated. Few sport things came easy to me. Then, again, I was SIX! Or was I 7? I just couldn’t handle all the push-ups! ;)

Seth grew up in a house located on about 40 acres in the middle of a forest near the coast of southwest Oregon. The climate there is actually very much like a rainforest. While most San Diegans complain at the mere sight of a grey cloud, Seth suggests going on walks in “real weather.” “But, it’s raaiiining,” I’ll whine. “What, […]

First Dance Sunsets with Grandpa

We went up to Oregon for a wedding this past weekend.  It was so wonderful.  Beautiful and simple, it was set in the country about an hour out of Eugene.  When we arrived, the bride and groom were just getting into their vows (Of course we were late!  But, it was totally OK because we were safely tucked in […]
