Avery and I spent the day with our cousins at the Dana Point Harbor. I love this little cousin trio we have going on because it’s a repeat of Michelle, Natalie and Me. (Don’t worry Amanda, I’m sure another cousin will come along soon enough to be your “pete.”) For those of you who don’t know, Michelle (like Isabelle) was 4 when Natalie and I were born. She went from being the one and only apple of everyone’s eye to having to share the spotlight with a baby sister and cousin. We were a lot cuter than Michelle, making it extra challenging for her. Juuust kidding, Shell! Anyway, Isabelle was incredibly patient with all the stops we had to make today for baby changings and feedings. Plus, she helped take care of Avery, feeding her banana aplastado and playing with her so that I could
go pee in peace take a quick break.
Some of our highlights were Isabelle showing me how her “wishing paper” made all wishes come true. I wished for a hug from my favorite niece, Isabelle, and she gave me a hug right away, so it MUST really work! We roamed around the harbor and Isa showed off her “hip to the hip” walk. She also protected us from the wolves and bears along the way! Avery loved having another baby to hang out with. Can anyone guess how many baby rolls are in the photo of them?
