Everyone tells me to sleep when the baby sleeps. First, let me say that I think this makes no sense. The laundry doesn’t exactly go fold itself and put itself away. Instead, it sits in baskets in our closet until I need that one top that is at the bottom and go digging through the entire pile, messing it up completely. BUT, to get to this point, I have to sort, wash, dry, and fold the laundry. This takes place during Avery’s nap time. Photos also take place during her nap time. And, now that I have Adobe Lightroom, so does editing. I just started fooling around with the program and some MCP Actions. Let’s see what these look like on the blog.
Here is my favorite. Amanda is Avery’s personal Target shopper. It’s to the point where I just handed her a said amount of cash and told her to tell me when she needed more for Avery’s shopping fund. I mean, she finds such cute stuff. Check out that tutu!
Our friend Janet told us that she bought something Avery would have to grow into. I figured it was a 2T dress. Instead, it was this incredibly large and awesome bunny! I think she will be 6 before she’s tall enough to be able to carry it around.
I love this photo. Avery just started smiling. She’s dreaming here and it makes me wonder what she finds so funny.
Amanda scolded me for not having a flower on Avery’s head in her newborn photos. She made this lovely pink flower headband for Avery. Tre chic, no?!
Grandma Alex - Love the pictures. And wadda ya mean the laundry doesn’t fold itself? It does every time a freshly washed load is tossed onto the magic bed conveniently right in the spot where grandma sleeps… ;-)
