Style: Baby Diaper and Wipes Holder

This was my very first mommy gift!  My sweet friend, Jen, had noticed some Michael Miller samples I had ordered and picked this lovely little baby diaper and wipes holder for me from Seaside Papery on Coronado Island.  This may have just started a new fetish for baby-stuff holder that ‘s right up there with my […]

Patch and Seth: Attachment Parenting

I came across a blog of a mother who promotes attachment parenting the other day.  If you haven’t heard of it, it basically consists of 8 principles that supports their vision: The long-range vision of Attachment Parenting is to raise children who will become adults with a highly developed capacity for empathy and connection. Kallie - This is great! I couldn’t stop giggling. Attachment parenting is serious business, not going to say it’s wrong..but I won’t be following the plan. On a side note I do have a co- sleeper….

Aimee - Is it for Karper or Beau? ;) Miss you much, girlie!

Lisa Grassl - Too cute! I don’t think there will be any room in your bed for the new baby. Brooke was in a co-sleeper for 6 months, then went to her own room in a crib with no problem. Give it a try, you will be happy with how easy it is to tend to her during the night. By the way, sex happens during nap times :p

Aimee - My mom called me after reading this to inform me that I cried and cried in my crib until they took me back to their bed. And then, when I was a toddler, I would sneak into their room in the middle of the night and crawl into bed with them so quietly that they didn’t know I was there. They finally decided on putting my Strawberry Shortcake sleeping bag as my spot in their room. When my cousin Natalie slept over, we would all sleep in their room in our sleeping bags. It must be why I’m SO compassionate ;) But, I don’t see how we would all fit in our bed. Patch is going to have a tough time when the baby arrive! Thanks for the heads up on nap time! lol

» Tail Down, Head Up - [...] should have known something was wrong when there wasn’t a Patch-circled-up imprint on our bed after Seth and I got home from dinner.  His little brown patch peered from around the corner at [...]

My First Baby

Pin It He came with the name Alvin, but we both knew he was always meant to be Patch.   I didn’t know what the heck I was doing with a puppy, so I guess it’s a lot like motherhood.  You can prepare all you want, but you won’t know the first thing about raising a […]
